Guitarist Chris Kazuki and bassist Jared Hemara are gifted musicians studying at WAAPA who have been making and sharing music together for a long time. Together, they are part of Pareidolia, a jazz-hip-hop collective known for pushing musical boundaries and delivering high-energy performances. Their shared love for the art presents itself in this year’s JazzConnect Festival in new and unique ways, as the pair travel further along their journeys.

Join the duo as they explore sounds and grooves of jazz infused with the infectious spirit of Motown, Hip Hop and Gospel.
