Well that’s a wrap on Perth’s beachside jazz festival for 2024! From 23-25 August 2024 we turned the Scarborough Beach foreshore into one large music precinct, giving thousands of patrons the opportunity to enjoy great local artists, iconic venues and spectacular ocean views. On behalf of the ArtConnect committee, a big thank-you to everyone who contributed and made it such a huge success!!
With 17 fantastic, diverse events across 9 venues, all within easy walk, the program spanned the whole weekend, Friday to Sunday, with a range of free and ticketed events.
Patrons were able to enjoy established performers like Sophie Foster or Allira Wilson, or check-out Perth’s best new talent. You could choose to croon the afternoon away with the Basilio Brothers, or dust off your swing dance moves with the Matt Cahill Combo. Enjoy a sunset samba with Marcio Mendes, the spicy Cuban rhythms of De Cuba Son, or chill-out with some soul and jazz with Shameem.
